The Optimism Initiative
The Optimism Initiative is a project Katie began in February, 2009; and took online the following July.
The goal is to brighten your day, brighten your friends' days, and force you to seek out the true, good, and beautiful in life.
How do you do it?
it's easy.
Every day, at the end of the day, middle of the day, or 15 minutes in, look back and find one thing that made you smile. Write it down. It doesn't matter if it's the silliest little thing. It doesn't matter where you write it.
I like the idea of a blog, because it can make your friends smile too... share the love; spread the joy, right?
If, by some chance, this whole thing inspires you and you start your own, let me know so I can add you to my list!
